The Oaknook Wooden Wall Candle Sconces are a pair of solid wood brackets that mount to the wall and hold a pillar candle each. Hung above a desk or spaced along a hallway, they put light at eye level rather than on the surface you are trying to work on, which changes how a room reads after dark. Overhead lighting flattens a room, whereas light from a wall at head height gives it depth and shadow, which is why sconces persist long after electricity solved the practical problem.
They are sold as a set of two because that is how they look best, spaced as a pair rather than isolated. The brackets sit flush to the wall, the fixings are simple, and everything needed to mount them is included. Solid timber throughout, so the grain shows rather than a printed finish.
