The Oaknook Three Tier Cup Rack holds mugs and glasses across three levels, sized for a countertop or the corner of a large desk. It keeps a set together and off the working surface, which is the difference between a collection and a pile. Mugs take up a surprising amount of counter or desk space for objects that are mostly empty, largely because they cannot be stacked safely.
Each layer is left clear enough that you can lift one cup out without moving the others first. That sounds obvious and is the thing most tiered racks get wrong, since a rack you have to unpack to use is slower than leaving the mugs on the counter. A rack gives them height instead of width, which is usually the dimension there is more of, and keeps a matching set together rather than spread across two cupboards.
Two widths are available, at 35cm and 50cm, depending on how much room you are prepared to give it.
